The word lubricant is derived from Latin "Lubricus" which means "to glide". A lubricant is therefore a product that reduces friction and eases operation when in contact with moving parts. When the proper lubricant is lacking the result is the failure of the mechanism. The difference between poor - average  and superior quality lubricants are not as easily seen. With average quality lubricant the mechanism will usually perform well and will last for a long time. With poor lubrication the service life will be significantly less than the design life. And with superior lubricant the mechanism will work for a long - long time.

Synthetic Oils

Liqui Moly's synthetic motor oils developed for for gasoline and diesel-powered passenger cars including vehicles equipped with a diesel particulate filter in accordance with the Euro 4 emissions standard. The combination of unconventional basic oils using synthetic technology, together with the latest additive technology, guarantees a motor oil that provides exceptional protection against wear and reduces oil and fuel consumption, while ensuring fast oil penetration of the engine.

For example we use Liqui Moly Longtime High Tech 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil, which is approved by BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen too.

CERA TEC is a high-tech ceramic wear protection product for all motor oils. CERA TEC reduces friction and wear due to ceramic compounds that withstand extremely high chemical and thermal loads. Prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, thus increasing the engine service life. The low-friction effect reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines. Sufficient for 5 liters of motor oil.

Voll-Synthese Gear Oil. Better viscosity in cold weather-stops sluggish shifting, reduces wear and tear on manual transmissions.
