Synthetic Oils
Liqui Moly's synthetic motor oils developed for for gasoline and diesel-powered passenger cars including vehicles equipped with a diesel particulate filter in accordance with the Euro 4 emissions standard.
The combination of unconventional basic oils using synthetic technology, together with the latest additive technology, guarantees a motor oil that provides exceptional protection against wear and reduces oil and fuel consumption, while ensuring fast oil penetration of the engine.
For example we use Liqui Moly Longtime High Tech 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil, which is approved by BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen too.
Oil Additive
CERA TEC is a high-tech ceramic wear protection product for all motor oils. CERA TEC reduces friction and wear due to ceramic compounds that withstand extremely high chemical and thermal loads. Prevents direct metal-to-metal contact, thus increasing the engine service life.
The low-friction effect reduces fuel consumption in gasoline and diesel engines. Sufficient for 5 litres of motor oil.
Operational area: CERA TEC is added to motor oil and is self-mixing. CERA TEC provides extreme wear protection for all moving parts and friction surfaces in the engine.

Diesel Purge
Your car powered by diesel engine and you experience rough engine operation, loss of power, poor fuel mileage. All of this are typical symptoms of an injection system clogged up with deposits. Such deposits can be cured with Liqui Moly's Diesel Purge.
What is Liqui Moly Diesel Purge? Diesel Purge is a Made in German cleaning additives for diesel engines. Cleaning addictives are chemical tools that fulfill their purpose reliably.
But how do cleaning additives work anyway?.
As soon as the engine starts running, deposits begin to form. The consist of partially combusted fuel residues, soot particles from burned oil and other combustion products.
The poorer the quality of the fuel and oil, the quicker and more extensively deposits develop. They lump together and stick to the metal surfaces in the engine, for example on the injection nozzles or piston rings.
These deposits prevent the fuel from atomizing finely in the combustion chamber or prevent it from sealing properly. This results in increasingly poor combustion causing the deposits to develop faster and faster.
Diesel engines' and gas engine's deposits are different, therefore the cleaning process need different type of additives.
On the one hand this is due to the difference in the fuels and on the other to the fact that the combustion process is different in diesel engines. Moreover the Cetan number improver contained in many of Liqui Moly's cleaning additives for diesel engines has the opposite effect in gasoline engines: It reduces the Octane factor.
